Santa is coming to town!

Hi! I present you my latest creation: Father Christmas! It's a 1:12 (1 inch) scale dollhouse doll. This little Santa is entirely handmade by me in polymer clay and decorated with fabric and wool. Every little detail is accurately made and I believe looks pretty realistic, what do you think?

He carries his bag of toys as gift to the kids of the dollhouse as well as a miniature Christmas tree decorated with paper angels. The figurine is slightly posable and can stand on its own.

Ciao!Vi presento il mio Babbo Natale in miniatura per casa delle bambole in scala 1:12.  Questo piccolo Santa Claus è realizzato interamente da me in pasta polimerica e decorato con lana e stoffa. Trattasi di un pezzo unico. Ogni piccolo dettaglio è stato curato con attenzione e ritengo che il risultato sia piuttosto realistico, che ne dite?  Porta con se un sacco con i regali per i piccoli della casetta delle bambole e un albero di Natale in miniatura decorato con angioletti di carta.

Edith - 1:12 scale dollhouse doll

Hello! Long time no see!!! I'm terribly busy so time to create is reduced to a minimum :///
Nevertheless, after watching the movie Crimson Peak I was inspired to create this piece. 

She's Edith, 14 cm tall, completely handmade in polymer clay, inspired by the character of Edith Cushing.

Ciao a tutti! E' da tanto che non ci si vede ;) Sono terribilmente impegnata e il tempo per creare è ridotto al minimo! Ciononostante, dopo aver visto il film Crimson Peak sono stata ispirata a creare questa bambolina in scala 1:12. La bambola ritrae la protagonista Edith Cushing. E' interamente realizzata a mano in pasta polimerica, è alta 14 cm. Spero vi piaccia!

Waiting for Santa... aspettando Babbo Natale

Hello everyone! As you sure can understand, these days I am quite busy with my baby and have very little time to create. Nevertheless I could find sometime to create this little Christmas doll. She's called "Waiting for Santa" and is an unique creation in polymer clay. She's posable and can hold her star-shaped toy magic wand. 

She will be available on ebay from the 1st of December (tomorrow ;)

Ciao a tutti! Come sicuramente potrete capire, sono molto impegnata con la mia bimba i questi giorni e ho molto poco tempo per creare. Ciononostante sono riuscita a trovare un po' di tempo per creare questa piccola bambolina natalizia. Il titolo è "Aspettando Babbo Natale". E' una creazione originale e pezzo unico realizzato in pasta polimerica. E' posable e può reggere la sua bacchetta giocattolo a forma di stella. 

Sarà disponibile su ebay a partire dal primo dicembre (domani ;)

She has a structure made of pipe cleaners that allows legs and arms to move. The clothes are handsewn.

Ha una struttura realizzata con degli scovolini che permettono a mani e gambe di muoversi. Gli abiti sono cuciti a mano.

Work in progress... building the house

Finally! My daddy had some time to help me building the structure of the dollhouse ^_^
It's been a lot of fun with him (he's used to work with bigk pieces. We were so tired at the end, but we managed to cut all the pieces right :) Also my book is in french, which is one of the many languages I don't speak ;) 

I love this project, I hope it will turn out well.

Projects, ideas, wip and ... free wallpapers

I'm very excited today! I started some new projects and I have a lot of ideas :))) 

One of these ideas is a serie of miniature tutorials made by me. I plan to make one per month, starting with the skiis tutorial this month. 

I have almost finished it so it should be online by the end of the week I guess.

I am also working on a doctor's bag inspired by this tutorial... mine is not so beautiful though ;) I will show it to you tomorrow ^_^

One of my golas this year is to finish the dollhouse structure by the end of march. I really hope to succed ^_^

Flowers :)

Good morning! I'm working on the dollhouse living room floor at the moment. I will show you some pictures soon! The work is going slowly, but I have to say I'm pretty happy of the results :) I'm following Lea's directions from her wonderful book "Maison Miniature". 

Anyway I decided to show you my latest flowers today ^_^

Dear friends...

Dear friends! As you can see my blog is now empty. I decided to have a new start!
The blog will be written in english but I also speak italian, russian, polish, a little bit of german and a very little bit of chinese, so feel free to comment in the language you prefer... and if we don't understand each other, we will use google translate ^_^
Also the tutorials will be written in italian and english, but I could write in any other language I know, if you make a request.
Please know that english is not my native language, so forgive any grammar mistakes ;)

Why did I decide to start from 0??? First of all because I was away from this blog for a very long time, so I actually lost the train of thought I was following. Second, because my dollhouse too is having a brand new start. This means that at the moment it lies in a stack. I disassembled all the pieces as the structure was not strong enough and I'm making a new basement. As some of you might remember, my dollhouse is a Delprado kit I bought already assembled from a very nice woman called Sandra, which did a very great job. But the fact is that the nature of the Delprado dollhouse itself  (sold in pieces to be assembled) is not of the best of quality. The plan now is to give the house a strong basement. Doing so all the structure will be a lot stronger and it will be possible to move the house without the fear of breaking it every time. Also I will be following the advices from the beautiful book "Maison Miniature" by Lea Frisoni, which I own in french (and I don't speak french, but it doesn't matter ;)
